"The room seemed clean, but the bathroom was a little dirty. They require a $300 deposit, which I thought was too much for just one night. I only slept there for about 6 hours. I wasn’t able to shower in the morning because of the shared bathroom situation. There were two other guests using the bathroom in the morning and I had to check out by 10am."

"When I arrived at the property the staff was so welcoming and kind which made my check in process very pleasant and efficient. When i entered my room was it was clean and due to the weather at a very tolerable chill room temp. I enjoyed my stay and I will return soon."

"The hotel was easy to find. The free Parking was a huge plus! Only 5 minutes walk to a CTA bus stop or Metra train. Our room was very clean. My only complaint was the lack of amenities. There wasn't even an ice or water machine, no vending machines, no breakfast. But if you just need a place to sleep while you explore Chicago by day then this place is perfect."

"We were able to check in early and the staff were very kind and helpful! Beds and rooms were a little smaller than expected but sufficient. Breakfast was just poptarts, apples, and oatmeal packs. Selection of sodas, waters, and ice cream for purchase was nice. Ended up buying bottled water because there was no drinking fountain and tap water didn't taste great. 30 minutes of walking and train rides to get downtown."

"This is our second time staying at the sable and it was wonderful! The staff is amazing and friendly! The elevators were out and we got lost a couple times getting to our room, and every single staff member that we would run into each time was so helpful and kind in finding where we were supposed to go! One of the housekeepers even stopped what she was doing to walk us to our correct floor when she realized we were lost! She was so incredibly nice! The views are incredible, the location is...

"Don't stay here . It's not safe . Could not even check in with reservations. Slept on sidewalk literally. Had to get a refund even after filing out paperwork and told to come back for room key later . I did and nobody there spent hours on hold in streets trying to resolve. Expedia couldn't even get ahold of property. Very disappointed on property side and Expedia. You have been warned trust the reviews this place is horrible"

"The room never got vacuumed. The shower poured water on the whole bathroom floor, I had to dry the floors with towels regularly. I paid for a two queen sized beds and one double sofa bed, didn't get that either. Since I didn't get the sofa bed two of my friends left and had to make other arrangements.
