At the end of the wharf I found all these colorful dinghys.

What a wonderful time at the Fisherman’s wharf in Monterey. And the clam chowder is the best.

In lower left corner of pic, can see seal pup suckling its mother and next to them a female soon to calf.

Long section of bike trail fenced off. Spring is home to seals in the Monterey area.

The room service was the worst. Ordered chicken noodle soup. When it arrived it tasted like it came from the can so I called the front desk and to tell them this and asked why it tasted unseasoned. I was told that it was from a Campbell soup can which absolutely threw me.

This motel was in a great and easy location to be able to walk to everything from. The room was clean, but very basic, and a shelf or small table to put our toiletries on in the bathroom (and soap in the shower) would have been helpful!
