Top Miki Hotel Reviews
Kobe MerikenPark Oriental Hotel
8/10 Good
"We booked this hotel 6 months ago and asked for a quiet room. They put us next to a family with a constant crying baby in and out of their room and balcony banging around. It amazes me that they had 6 months to manage our request!! However the room itself was really nice and an amazing outlook over to the sea. The breakfast was average. We did go to the roof Terrace twice for a drink and found the head bar man unhelpful and unfriendly. We asked to try the house wine which comes by the glass before ordering but were faced with a rather direct and blunt โNOโ which we found awkward. Not a great experience and the hotel ultimately misses out on business."
Kobe Portopia Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed on 17th floor facing airport, amazing views, great amenities, a massive hotel with normal big hotel amenities (laundry service only). Comfortable beds and pillows. One downside was walls between rooms super thin, lady in room next door coughed all night long ๐, limited sleep had."

Seaside Hotel Maiko Villa Kobe
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing view from the room of the Akashi Kaikyou bridge and fantastic breakfast buffet with both western and Japanese food. Luxury communal bath was also fantastic and appreciate it being open late with spa quality soap, shampoo, conditioner and a few lotions and cleansers. Peaceful location in mostly residential area but close enough by train to Tarumi, Akashi, Kobe and Himeji which all offer lots of dining and shopping options as well as sightseeing. Room amenities included pajamas, slippers all necessary toiletries, hair dryer, small fridge, electric kettle, cofee, tea, and bottled water. 10 min walk from Maiko station is a little uphill and may be tough in the summer heat with luggage, but short taxi ride is also an option from the station. There is an elevator that will get you up the final hill to the hotel, which may be hard to spot for first time visitors, so be sure to google the entrance elevator to find it."
