"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"Loved my stay. Cozy, clean room and literally a few minutes from the beach. Porthcawl is a cute little town, definitely recommend Beales Fish & Chips while you’re here. The host was friendly and really welcoming. Would stay again."
