"It had everything we needed for a one nights stay. The only thing we couldn’t find was the switch for the heating as we did need to take the chill off now it’s getting cooler. Despite the fire alarm going off and no one knowing what to do at 5am we had a pleasant stay"

"The hotel was difficult to find as it’s a small door at the end of a building block. There is no parking, you need to use any of the city lots at £14 a week. Room was quiet and clean. Haystacks is an excellent cafe downstairs."

"We had a delightful stay with our dog at The Tiger. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the hotel- we thoroughly recommend Chicken& Leek Pie. Lovely beer/lager.Our only niggle would be the rooms are all on the top floor- a few stairs to negotiate. We would stay again."

"Our stay was ABSOLOUTLY perfect the kitchen had everything you could need and the oven was really good
The tv has some decent channels
Sofa is so comfortable
Bathroom was really clean ext
Even had shower gels , sanitary products , deodorant ect
The bed was firm"
