"Clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, excellent shower. Did not have any meals so can’t comment on those. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming.
Only criticism is that the room was too warm for our liking even with the heating off."

"The room staff breakfast all more than good But the down side for me was the tv I'm 64 years old and my hearing is not great now I do understand the volume not going so loud as to disturb the next room but the volume goes from 1 to 100 so why set it at 10 I had to sit right next to it to hear it never been to a hotel that has it set below 20"

"The room did the job - but numerous issues.
Missing some basic necessities like a bedside light. Had to use the public wifi from the bar downstairs which was choppy at best.
The problems started right from the beginning. Check in according to the website was 10:00pm. But at 8:30pm I had a message saying I wouldn't be able to check in after 9 as the bar shuts at that point. I was on a train so unable to get there for that time, and somebody very kindly stayed to let me in, but they still...

"Closed down when we got there with no cancellation or notice. Hotels.com could only offer refund which would take up to ten days. And we're left stranded and having to find somewhere else to stay paying out double. "
