Very close to airport
Super close to airport, got there in 10 minutes. Bit disappointed with breakfast experience, asked for vegetarian but got a big chicken in the box and wasn’t allowed to eat the buffet breakfast after that!

The first day, when I checked in the hotel room at 2pm to 4 pm, I had experienced the aircon wasn’t working..it was very warm with the room facing the afternoons sun. No one attended to me after 2 complains.., so I packed up my luggage and informed the receptionist that I wanted to reject this room and so I went down to meet them at the receptionist counter got my room changed, But to a much smaller one ☹️.

Great transit stay
I had an early flight so the location was perfect. The complimentary shuttle to the airport an added bonus. I chose business class room as the standard do not have any windows. The room and amenities was very clean and modern.

Its ok for an overnight if linking flights as its close to airport. There is a breakfast available but no restaurant for meals which is a pain. I go next door to The Crew Hotel which is most probably a better choice if you need an all in one. Hotel is clean and cheap for the location.

Our stay was perfect
Some folks had issues here; we did not. Our room was clean and comfortable, no noise, no bugs, no issues. We wanted a hotel close to the airport and this ended up perfect. I wouldn't recommend staying at this location unless you are purposefully trying to remain close to the airport but if proximity and convenience is your goal then Crew should be a solid option.

Nice place to stay and take a rest. Near foodcourt and kfc also near 3D playzone. Only 10 minutes from kualanamu airport to this place. This hotel also have free shuttle bus service from hotel to airport.

Great for early flight out
If you've got an early flight out of Medan, you could do worse than The Crew. I read a few reviews about ants and cleanliness, but I didn't run into any of these problems. Checkin was quick and easy. There's a 200,000 refundable deposit for the mini bar, which I wasn't expecting, so have some cash on hand for that. I had a Business Class room, which included a work desk and a window. Not much of a view besides the rooftop of the adjoining building. The bathroom was clean, though a bit narrow. Bring your own toiletries if you're not keen on using the soap/shampoo combo they provide from a liquid soap dispenser. The room itself had a comfortable king bed (though I'd argue it was a queen). They sheets had some small, questionable stains, but they at least smelled laundered, so I'm assuming they were clean despite this. Aircon was strong. The restaurant left a bit to be desired. For dinner, I ordered nasi goreng. It was served in record time, which means I got reheated rice and slightly dry chicken. Breakfast was mainly local, with cocoa cereal, fried eggs and toast also on offer. Coffee was brewed up by a Nestle Alegria machine. Don't bother with The Cabin Spa unless you fancy absolutely horrendous massages from disinterested, untrained masseuses, whose only goal is to get you to pay for "extras" at the end. The advert in the room made it look legit. I can assure you that it is not. 225,000 wasted. Free airport shuttle is every hour. Plan accordingly.

Great stay!
The hotel is perfect for a night before you head to the airport. We had an early flight so needed to be close! Rooms are compact but gave everything you need. Staff are super helpful! They even made us breakfast to take away! We are dinner round the corner in a little cafe! There is also a KFC nearby but we avoided! The bakery next door dies fabulous donuts too! The shuttle to the airport us free but make sure you book and it doesn't operate on the hour! We had to get the 0530 as the next was at 0800! Too late! Lots of travel crew here so it's busy! Also the floors are tiled so you can hear the heels in room above!

Room with no windows and dirty.
Overall not a great experience. Last hotel of trip just a quick overnight before flying home. Can't recommend. Room had no windows, grim, and they wanted a 200,000 idr deposit for the mini bar. Would not use the credit card on file. Would keep passport instead. I said no because they seemed so inept that I had visions of: "oops only guy who could open safe in morning not here! Sorry! So finally they agreed to turn off mini bar. PS No ATM in hotel.

Comfortable, quiet and convenient
The room was small, but very comfortable. Excellent wfii, air conditioning, and in room amenities. We also used the free shuttle to the airport.

Cheap, comfortable but tiny room
Stayed one (short) night before an early morning flight, so proximity to the airport was the top priority for us. There is a free airport shuttle which takes only 10 minutes. The room was reasonably comfortable except that it was extremely tight-- barely enough space to maneuver around the bed and no space to lay out clothes to dry which we sorely needed. We were essentially barricaded inside the room by our suitcases which was not ideal from a fire hazard point of view. That said, the hotel is certainly highly affordable.

Locked in my room!
Problems: 1- There was a problem with my key and the door... I couldn't open the door once I got in!! 2- Needed maintenance help!!! 3- Staff not English speaking! 4- 200,000 rupiah deposit returned when leaving ( KEEP receipt! For refund... In cash ! ) could not reverse credit card charge! 5-Going to KNO I did NOT need RUPIAH !! 6- Some food and expensive beer Benefits: 1- free hourly airport shuttle 10 minutes to KNO!! 2- ONLY hotel near KNO 3- excellent modern, brand new room overlooking huge parking lot and KFC !?!

Bedsheets were dirty, aircon not working
Since I had to take the 1st flight out of Medan, we decided to stay a night at the Crew. First of all, I could see stains on the bedsheets. There is only shower cream, no shampoo or conditioner. The worst thing is the aircon in the First Class Room is not cool at all. Despite setting the temp to the maximum lowest, fan at the maximum speed in power mode, I was still tossing on the bed all night, feeling warm and stuffy. I also had 5 mozzie bites on my torso and feet :( Only 1 HBO movie channel Not only my room doesn't feel cold, it was the same for my 2 other colleagues too.

-They could not find our reservation and even after showing the print out from Expedia they wouldn't understand. -No Fire Exits. No windows anywhere (kind of claustrophobic) - Restaurant: only 2 items on the menu - Promised early breakfast but nobody was in the kitchen. - Cigarrete smell goes into "no smoking rooms". - air conditioning did not work properly.

So New ... Unfinished Hotel
This pre-opened lower level floor hotel building is surrounded by construction equipment, scrap & landscape as it "jumped the gun" to start business. The hotel interior & sides are sparkling & attractive. During the day it may get noisy outside due to property work but nighttime is quiet. Most walkable distance restaurants are not completed but Sederhana Makan Padang packs a powerful punch of local Sumatran table spread favorite selections. Its easy to fetch taxi at premises & it is nearest lodging to airport. The staff were fine. I had no complaints nor disappointments in my 3 nite stay.

Juste pour une nuit...
L'hôtel se trouve dans un groupe d'immeubles qui regroupe d'autres hôtels et quelques restos. Apparemment, le centre commercial prévu au rez-de-chaussée n'a pas encore convaincu les investisseurs. Nous avions contacté à plusieurs reprises l'hôtel pour qu'ils viennent nous récupérer à l’aéroport, mais nous n'avons jamais eu de réponse. Par contre, nous avons pu bénéficier de la navette gratuite le lendemain. La chambre est assez grande, la clim ne pouvait pas se régler et c'était assez froid. La salle de bains est correcte, et l'ensemble est assez bien entretenu. Le personnel est trop nombreux. Rien qu'à la réception, 4 personnes pour s'occuper du check-in, mais aucune synchro entre eux. Du coup, informations contradictoires...Notre départ avec la navette était prévu à 5h30 du matin, on nous a appelé dans la chambre à 5h en nous demandant de descendre tout de suite, nous avons attendu...30 minutes avant de partir à 5h30. Comme c'était juste pour une nuit (transit aéroport)...cet hôtel nous a toutefois satisfait, mais nous ne le recommandons pas pour des plus longs séjours.
