We were initially upgraded to a two‑bedroom suite, but unfortunately the toilet was very dirty. We were then moved back to the room from our original booking, which was fantastic, but the transfer took almost the entire day and significantly affected our plans.

Amazing resort. All rooms have its own pool which is cool! Staff are all so professional and friendly. The buggy service that transfer us from one point to another is always prompt.

Tranquility, the view, and the hospitality and service of the staff in the resort. Quite far from city centre, but expensive food (though the food in Pantai is good & worth the money paid) and a lot of mosquitoes and lizards in the property. The state and condition of the furnishing and villa could have been maintained better, but otherwise had a memorable stay in the property.

Great location, super relaxing. Staff are simply amazing - they cannot do enough for you. Breakfast and other dining options very good too. My mum has limited mobility and the staff were super considerate, provided a villa without steps and made sure a buggy was available when ver we needed it. Will definitely return!

Nice room sea view facing, but quite basic with amenities for this much spoken of resort. Complimentary mini bar was just 2 cans of soft drinks. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Dinner at the Japanese restaurant Hinotori was very good!

It is a beautiful resort and has plenty activities within. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The food was awesome. The villa rooms (with the private pool) are so cosy and chilled out. Everything from checkin to checkout was simply perfect. Liked the politeness of the staff, always willing to help (god bless them all, for staying motivated as they are) !! Loved our stay here. Tbh, you didn’t really need to leave the villa for anything. Restaurants’ quality were all top notch, service staff were friendly and english standards were adequate. Really great place to just chill and relax for a couple of days. It does come with a price tag but at least you do get a luxurious stay so it’s worth it

The staff are incredibly accommodating and it is an easy trip from Singapore via ferry. Parts of the property were nice but the main pool and beach area were under construction. I’d say the photos might be a bit outdated or we just happened to come before the property was spruced up for high season. Overall it could use some love. Private pool was a huge asset, as was included breakfast.

Absolutely love this resort. I’m definitely coming back. Special mention to Andry. His service has wowed me. His dedication to providing good experience during our entire stay was impeccable. It was a unanimous agreement from everyone in the family that he made a difference to our stay in Batam. The property may be a bit aged but they are making efforts to upgrade the property progressively. The spa was world class. I am a seasoned traveler and the spa here was one of the top. This was my kids’ first time and I have to say I have spoiled them starting them with one of the best spa experience. Simply beautiful. A very memorable trip for my family. Montigo rocks!!

My family of 5 recently stayed at Montigo resort and though we only had a short 2D1N stay, we had the most amazing time. The villa was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed all the facilities within the villa and around the property. But what sets the experience apart from other vacations we’ve had was the service. Every single staff member at Montigo we encountered was warm and helpful, attentive to our requests and going out of their way to make sure that we had an enjoyable stay. In particular, staff members Felli and Andry helped us a lot during our stay and treated us with so much care that prompted my son to ask me if we’re VIPs. 😊 We definitely look forward to returning soon and once again like to say a huge thank you for the fantastic experience!!
