"It is a unique property; definitely a boutique hotel, which I prefer. I would recommend you ask for a 2nd or 3rd floor. My room on the 1st floor was right on the street with no privacy or natural light unless I opened the shutters. Also, I arrived by taxi at night. As we drove through the surrounding neighbourhood, the "historic" area was more ghetto than I expected from their photos. Many of the older buildings that would have been grand back in the day, are empty, in need of major repair....

"Early check in not provided even though I bought a high end room. Bathtub drain didn’t work. After the tub was full of water. The very nice and professional engineer fixed the mechanism but the drain was still very slow. Alternative room was at the back of the building instead of the view room with the malfunctioning drain. "

"Room was quite spacious but no fridge. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is drinking water in the breakfast area. Location wise, the path to the hotel seems a bit sketchy at night. It’s a 30 min walk to the main attractions. There are lots of things to explore on the way so not bad. Overall a good place to stay at."

"The hotel was sublime. Everything was perfect. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms spacious and clean. Very quiet noise-wise. But the best thing was the staff. They went above and beyond in every possible way. We will definitely return to Chile because of our wonderful experience and make sure that we’ll stay here in Santiago or at the Singular in Patagonia. Thank you for everything, Singular team!! "
