"Nice people"

"The staff are what makes this place a 5 star hotel! Everyone we encountered was kind, friendly, and always asking how our stay was and how we were doing. They provided recommendations for us on dining and always answered our questions. Free breakfast was a plus, too! Our room was small and our view was next to nothing, which was kind of depressing when visiting New York but we made do."

"The room and overall stay was good. The bartender GiGi was awesome as well. We received the room directly in front of the elevator. It got loud at times. However, the only inconvenience is there is no onsite parking if you’re renting or driving. The parking they provided closed early so we were unable to park. Also, there is no on street parking nearby as told by the receptionist at the front desk."

"Loved our stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. The location was great and room was too. The only issue was that the elevator doors would close extremely fast and would not bounce back once they made contact with a person. On 2 occasions someone else in the elevator had to push the doors open. I returned home with a very large bruise on my shoulder. Hopefully, the elevator has been adjusted by now as it could be very dangerous."

"Our stay at the Residence Inn Lower Manhattan/Financial District was a mixed experience. The biggest advantage is definitely the location—it’s within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. The room itself was very nice, comfortable, and well-maintained. While the overall cleanliness of the hotel was acceptable, it was average rather than exceptional. "The hotel was in an excellent location with subways near by taking you all around Manhattan. Brooklyn bridge was a 10 minute walk and the 9/11 memorial , Wall Street was a 5 minute walk.This was my second visit to New York and found this hotel and location far better than staying in Times Square."

"The hotel is nestled in the financial district with many tourist attractions within walking distance. The freedom tower, stock exchange, battery park, and many many more attractions located nearby. The staff was super friendly and eager to help with any questions. There is also several places to eat around the hotel plus the a restaurant on-site. The subway system is also near."

"We travelled as a family of 4 adults and were given 2 queen size mattress. It was adequate for us and comfy. Only gripe I had with the bed was that the bed frame was atop a metal base with sharp edges at the base plus the frame was held together by clasps which jutted out! I had the unfortunate incident of grazing against it twice wand caused a cut both times. I’ve mentioned to the front desk and the lady apologised and said she will notify the management about it. "There was a very nice secluded view of New York on the 44th floor, overall the area in view and feeling of the hotel was amazing. However, the water was expensive in the common area. The cookie given at the beginning of our state was hard."

"Hotel lobby was nice and upper floors were clean. No doorman to help with the luggage. Rooms were small and dark but clean. Changed rooms, the first room had one window that faced a wall. The second room was fine. "
