"The room was clean and wonderful. The main breakfast choice, though hearty, is on the unhealthy side, though there is an option for oatmeal only. This is a problem since there is no protein with it; of course, you could order an egg à la carte. The restaurant is handy, but you have to work to find something that is actually good for you and tastes good, too."

"My experience was good, the room was fairly clean there was some dusty areas along with some hair and debri in the bathroom. Staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was a little disappointing. There was no scrambled eggs or milk. Those are basic breakfast items. The orange juice machine was out of order. The fruit seemed old (apples,oranges), the only fresh fruit was the cantaloupe. Overall our stay was good. Everything is new and modern."

"The hotel was insanely loud. Loud banging throughout the night that almost sounded like construction, yelling, doors slamming, car alarms going off throughout the night. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and the sofa in the room had multiple dark stains all over it. The room did not look like it had been wiped down at all. Online, the pricing showed that I would owe $34 at the hotel... Ended up paying over $80 for undisclosed fees. Parking lot entry and exit wasn't working, so it was...

The grounds show personal touches like flower beds, raised planters, terraced areas with multiple seating options, and best of all is the total peace and quiet. "The staff was awesome. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was clean. Ice machine worked and breakfast was good too. These were the good things. But the carpet needs to be replaced in the hallway."

"Mold in shower desk lady didn’t seam to care but was she able to help me clean it."

"Room had central AC and it was not able to cool the room. Shower adjustment handle came off and staff couldn’t fix it. It was difficult to take a shower. Power plugs were pulled off for fridge and microwave at the back of wardrobe, I had to figure it out and put them back."

"I needed a place to sleep as my neighbor was playing overly loud obnoxious music. I found a room at the Motor Lodge, and hopped in the car. Place was lovely, quiet and clean. I was only there long enough to sleep, but it was exactly what I needed! I highly recommend this place if you are travelling through the Carson Valley!"
