"The room is very nice. They have large ceiling fans and AC. There is a large frig and a kitchen area to cook meals. FYI there is no TV. The view from the balcony of the ocean is amazing. There is a very nice sitting area on the balcony to enjoy the ocean and fresh air. The beach is amazing and the water is warm. There is a large coral reef to snorkel and tons of fish to see. The hotel has beach chairs, umbrellas and other stuff you can use for free. The only negatives is there is very limited...

"Not a great check-in experience, room had pulled up carpet and broken lamp (upgraded bungalow room) and was not worth the price we paid. Restaurants and Luau on-site were overpriced and underwhelming. The only upside was the manager Gretchen that helped us to move to a different room (lower priced), but better view. We didn't get any money back, but Gretchen was very nice and helped us out."

"This isn’t a terrible property & is perfect for budget travelers. I suggest renting a car because it is a hour drive from OGG airport. One of the most aggravating things is not being able to talk to someone in an office, especially when you need fresh towels or a little housekeeping. I would rate my stay at seven out of 10. Pros: Economical, less than a 5 min walk to the beach, nice balcony with a cute garden view Cons: No TV!!!, older accommodations and apparently the floor in unit above us...

"Great beach access for swimming, snorkeling, and tidal pool exploring. A turtle cove to directly to the south, swimming directly to the North. Fell asleep to waves on the rocks directly in front of our ocean front room."

"The front desk was great. When I arrived to check in I was immediately welcomed and taken care of as soon as I walked thru the doors. I even came thru the front desk office after a late tour and the person that checked me in greeted me - I felt like I was at home. Every person that was working in the property was so friendly and acknowledged you throughout the day. I don’t think I would stay anywhere else in Maui. I felt so safe here."

"Best kept secret for Kaanapali beach resorts! Everything accessible with no elevators, crowds, or chaos. Free wi-fi, parking and best stretch of beach ever. Pool never crowded, plenty of chairs and unlimited towels at front desk. Free coffee 7am-11am. Stayed in Coconut Building and room had double queen beds and full stainless kitchen.
