"Distance from Disney and amenities were the reason we chose The Grove. It was disappointing to learn we could not bring our own food into the water park grounds, given the cost of our stay. We also did not have some essential items stocked in the room (coffee, sugar, dish towels) and our oven was broken. There was an issue with the air conditioning system as well which was extremely loud all 3 nights of our stay despite logging a ticket. Staff were gracious to refund the cost of parking as a result but this did not seem to really compensate for the lack of sleep and additional money spent to make our stay more comfortable. I would not stay again - too many hidden costs."

"Beautiful property with lots of activities and late pool and hot tub hours. Toilets need updating as they have a long shelf and low water pressure; bathroom needs modernizing. It's possible it was just my room, but overall I had a great stay and will definitely return!"

"I absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed in the villas which looked amazing on the inside. Very spacious and modern. The only complaint was the restaurant "Stone & Current". My husband and I both got Beef Wellington, which was ok but definitely not worth $40. The crab & cheese dip was bland, the broccolini was bland, not cooked fully and not worth the price. The lobster soup was probably the best tasting thing. We got the chicken thighs to-go but tasted it while in the restaurant, it was also bland & not cooked correctly. The breading was soggy and falling off the chicken. There really should be a sous chef checking the food before it goes out, and if there is a sous chef, they did a terrible job. It was not worth the price of almost $200. But I guess that's resort food for you. I would never eat there again. I also didn't like that the $200 gift card we got after going to the "timeshare tour", couldn't really be used on everything at the resort, although they said it could at the desk when they are trying to get you to sign up for the timeshare tour. And I didn't like that they automatically took 18% off of every thing you bought at a restaurant or bar, as gratuity. But they don't tell you that ahead of times. All in all, it was a pretty great trip."
