I recommend the Maya Hotel Kuta
The Maya hotel in Kuta is an appropriately priced hotel with wonderful staff who are eager to please. The facilities are basic though perfect for a family on a budget who want to explore Bali.

Maya village is in a great location near lots of local eateries and shops. The room however was lacking lots of things that the advertising promised (e.g. Washing machine) and was very musty on arrival. Our bathroom lacked ventilation (no fan or window) and the hot water ran out after a 5min shower. The hotel also blares random pop music at all hours in the pool area, even when no one is there, and when many guests have gone to bed. It has no processes in place so things change with every change of staff (One day the blankets disappeared off our bed when housekeeping came and we had to request blankets again). The staff do their best to help you but there just needs to be some better management.

Good deal for the rate
The hotel has a good vibe, and a good price. The service was just ok, I had a few incidents, but they were kind enough to resolve them after some persistent complaining. The pool area was very nice, and a kind of refuge. The decor was great, but the plumbing was poor, and the wifi was very slow. All in all a good choice for $25 a night

Place is difficult to find & signboard is hidden.
The place is cheap so don't expect too much from it ! Every things is basic. The place is not like what it has been posted in the advertise (it worst).The facilities are not provided like what have been describe e.g no internal phone,no fridge etc.

Good Pool and room in central location in Kuta
Couple minor issues but all in all was good. The free breakfast was tasty and bed was pretty comfortable. Little loud with other guests, but take what you get. Big garden at the hotel was nice. Walk to Kuta Beach not to far

Location wise is good,
We rented a family villa for 3nights. Near to shops, blocked bath tub, bed bugs, facilities not well maintained, no locks for the rooms, only main door. No room cleaning for 3 days. Can cook, enough water supply, no supply of toiletries.
