"We had an overall very pleasant stay at the Mandarin Oriental. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and welcoming, and we truly appreciated their excellent service and hospitality throughout our stay.
The reason I am giving four stars rather than five is mainly related to the room. The carpet had a noticeable unpleasant odor, which affected the overall freshness and comfort of the room.
Also, the mattress was surprisingly short. I am 6 feet tall, and my feet were hanging off the end of the mattress throughout the night, which made sleeping less comfortable than expected from a hotel of this standard.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and especially appreciated the wonderful staff. With some attention to the room carpeting and bedding, the experience could easily be five-star."
