This hotel is a wonderful conversion of three old shophouses, and all of the rooms have lots of style. We were in a room with a really high ceiling, so our bed was on a mezzanine storey above the rest of the room. This was quite fun! The bed was really comfy, and the bathroom had a good shower and excellent toiletries.
The only real downside to our stay was that the hotel doesn't provide a lot of services. There's no breakfast or food and drink on-site (although you can get a 20% discount at a restaurant down the street), and the staff are not as welcoming as they could be. So we felt less 'at home' in this hotel than we have at other hotels in Malaysia, and mainly used the hotel just for sleeping.
All-in-all, though, we liked our room, and enjoyed our visit to Ipoh.
