The room was small but neat and clean and the reception spoke good english. I stayed only for one night to connect the next morning by train. There are not a lot of stores or restaurants in the neighborhood but a subway is right next to the hotel and it takes you less than 10 minutes to the train ...
Perfect hotel if travelling from the railway station. Just a five minute walk along a wide level pavement and no roads to cross
Everything about the hotel was great! The staff are very friendly, the location is great (right next to 虹桥 train station and a nice mall with good restaurants), the room was very nice and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the list goes on and on. Would highly recommend, and my wife and I will stay ...
Very good ! Room is clean, bed is comfortable, staff is friendly and breakfast is great
Had booked a bigger room than what we got given. So we went back to reception and asked for what I had booked on Hotels.com . After arguing with reception staff for a while we were then upgraded to a master room. Which was a nice big room. The next day there was confussion from reception whether ...
Despite the fact Hongqiao International (SHA) is only Shanghai’s domestic flight hub it deals with 40 million passengers a year and is one the world’s busiest airports. Hongqiao serves airlines flying from Chinese locations including Beijing, Urumqi, Guangzhou and Hong Kong. International carriers also operate flights from Tokyo and Seoul to Hongqiao.Don’t Miss
The award-winning Shanghai Zoo is close to the outer fence of Hongqiao Airport. This facility houses 6,000 animals. Around 10 per cent of these are native to China and include Chinese tigers, giant pandas and long-horn oryx.
Tropical Storm is the nearest of several waterparks in Shanghai. Tropical Storm boasts lakes, rivers, swimming pools, an extended beach, a wave pool and the exciting 150-metre-long Pirate Slide. Liu Haisu Gallery and the Hongqiao Modern Art Museum are two of the nearby draws for culture fans.
Hongqiao International Airport (SHA) is about 12kms from the Bund and Nanjing Road in central Shanghai. The airport is well connected to Shanghai’s train system and has stations on two Metro lines and the intercity train line to Beijing. Those travelling to Pudong Airport for international connections can use the Metro network to get to Longyang Road Station for Maglev trains.Restaurants and Bars
Most nightlife options are situated in the central areas of Shanghai. Despite this, venues such as the Zuanxing and the Yicheng are only a couple of stops on the Metro and provide karaoke and nightclubs. Shanghai Brewery is a nice place to enjoy top-quality beer. The choice of eateries is endless and there are plenty where visitors can sample famed Shanghainese dishes such as hotpot, dumplings and noodle soup. A few restaurants serve the likes of Italian and Japanese food.Shopping
Shopping for unusual articles is best in the locality of Nanjing Road. Jade, statues, porcelain, traditional paintings, Chinese herbs and tea leaves, and decorated balls are among the great souvenirs here. The Songfang and Bailian shopping malls are nearer to Hongqiao. Their shops sell fashion clothing, electrical and mobile phone accessories, and toiletries. Shops in the airport itself stock similar items, but with more international brand names and duty-free options.
