"I have stayed in the Waikoloa Beach area for years, but first time at The Shores. I was very pleased with the unit which had obviously been updated and was nicely decorated. It was appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay and then some. We enjoyed walking the beautiful grounds. Pool is lovely. The beds were comfortable, however the big pillows were very lumpy and difficult to sleep on. The carpet in the guest room could use a good cleaning, and we missed an indoor dining...

"I never received access information and had to call upon arrival. Once inside the property the building and unit were extremely difficult to locate and there was no assistance available. The condo was extremely dated and furnishings were in very poor condition. Towels, bedding and furniture very worn. "The unit, gated community, pool, common areas, and landscaping were absolutely amazing. We truly appreciated that this unit came with the garage and with all of the beach items you could need to enjoy: snorkeling gear, beach towels, ice chests, wagon, beach umbrellas, and beach chairs. The unit itself was very comfortable, very clean, and the kitchen was well appointed.
