Best Luxury Hotels in Hawaii Island

"Pros: This property is STUNNING. The landscaping is gorgeous, and really added a lot to the overall luxury feel of this resort. We stayed in an ocean golf view "superior suite" which was well-located, and had convenient parking right outside our suite block. It also included a 2nd full bathroom with steam shower. The couch in our suite was comfy for lounging, and laundry and ice was very close by. We had our choice of pools to hang out at, as a couple traveling alone, but I preferred the Beach...

"This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Understated and tasteful elegance. Fantastic rooms with amazing balconies, world class beach, impeccable service, excellent grounds, fine dining at Manta, but also a beachfront casual bar/restaurant, and Copper Bar in between and our favorite. They have an Asian Art Collection worthy of a museum. This was out of our usual price range, a big splurge, and worth every penny. We are already trying to figure out how to swing it to go back next winter. "
