"This was my second time staying at The Latch Inn. It has a lovely setting by the marina. The rooms are very majestic. The staff is very polite and oh so helpful. The breakfast dining room is lovely and the food was perfect. The only thing I would comment on is that there was a slight smell of gas coming from the fireplace in the dining hall which my husband reported to the staff and another guest also reported the smell that had been coming from their fireplace in their suite. "A lovely B&B close to everything in Sidney. A purpose built B&B, with very quiet and comfortable rooms. A continental breakfast is delivered to your room, as often guests are heading to the ferry or airport. Worked perfectly for us. Room was very comfortable with our own heat control, fireplace, jetted tub and shower, and comfortable bed and linens. Great safe parking in the back of the inn. Highly recommend. "

"It was a surprise to have stayed in this wonderful hotel. Location is minutiae walk from city centre. We got upgraded to a loft suite with a king bed. Room is spotlessly clean and A/C is comfortable. Breakfast has lots of choice and the environment is classic. The long stairs to the bedroom maybe a challenge to seniors. Will stay again next time. "

"Things we did not like was the dirty towell with hair shower faucet broken which reception knew about but said nothing, and very poor breakfast with items missing due they said to tge food delivery not arriving. However, the pub next door 'Dickens' was good."
