"If you have younger kids this place is perfect, and great value! They had a native English speaker at check-in which avoided any confusion. The shuttle bus to our accom was great. The location is in a quiet street, yet only a 2 min walk to a subway station on a line that connects straight to Kyoto Station."

"Check in took a long time! I booked two rooms, but one was double booked. When we opened the door we found other guest’s stuff! Very confused! In the other room, refrigerator was empty. As a Hyatt member, i always was given free 2 bottle per room in other Hyatt places. This place refused to give nothing! Very bad experience ever!"

"Clean and peaceful "

"The location is very convenient. Train station is 1 min from hotel. McDonald's is opposite the hotel who those who may need it. The imperial palace, the gardens, Nishiki markets and Nijo castle is within walking distance. The provided breakfast was a sandwich and a soup, which wasn't to our taste as a breakfast option. The room was clean and modern, however the layout was not convenient including the TV facing the door and no casting option. The bathroom was great, large clean and very useful...

"We were so impressed by the kindness and flexibility during our stay. They accommodated an early check-in, had all of our luggage from our previous hotel waiting in our room, and even included thoughtful touches (handwritten welcome note). "In agreement with most past comments. Accessible (very close to the karasuma oike subway station) and within walking distance to most places, clean, nice jet stream shower, helpful staff. Amenities were great. Lots of items available. The cherry on top is the 24 hour lounge with complimentary bread and pastries that actually taste good."

"Staff is incredibly helpful and kind. Location is convenient! I booked this hotel specifically for the washing machine in my room, but it was broken. Luckily the staff offered to wash my clothes, but I wanted to wash them on my own so i declined. Overall good experience, just do not book if the primary driving factor is the washing machine."
