Good for one Night between flights

Was there for one Night between flights. Close to airport. Building looks like a prison inside But rooms are Nice with lots of space. Breakfast was ok.

Raia Hotel is perfect for anyone visiting Penang Island on business. It is situated within 20 minutes walking distance from the Airport (Penang International) and is safe, secure and well looked after. It has great WIFI, Huge smart TV in the rooms, desk for working and all the amenities you might expect. Additionally they have a buffet style restaurant.

We could go to the airport without of trafic jam. However, there are some insects, looked like small ants with wings in our room. They did not harm us, anyway. We could borrow hair dryer and plug shanger at the reception desk. They were so kinds. Totally, we stayed satisfied.

Not worth it

We stayed here for one night after a late flight. Considering the lobby the room was terrible. Dated, not very clean. I'm not sure how they expect 3 people (2 adults and 1 child) stay in 2 twin beds. The AC/power kept kicking on and off very loudly all night, the room had tons of mosquitoes inside when we entered. Bathroom had mold and kept flooding. Breakfast was expensive and not too good - a lot of items were finished and not replaced. The pool area is probably only good thing if you have kids. Would recommend staying elsewhere
