"We have stayed in a couple different hotels in fort Bragg, and this one was on par with other more expensive options. I think our only real complaint was that the shower curtain wasn't large enough for the shower. So no matter what we tried to do water got on the floor and we had to use towels to wipe it up. "The room was alright. Had a bit of a funky smell. The bathroom pressure was extremely slow. The walls are extremely thin. We had a room right next to the entrance of the building and every time someone parked their car or walked into the building you can hear every door open and close. Spring beds are ok. Proximity to downtown Ft. Bragg was nice."

"The Beachcomber is a great, affordable place to bring your family. I personally take my family there at least four times a year because it offers plenty of amenities, a convenient location close to the downtown area, and beautiful beach views. It’s always a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay, making it one of our favorite family destinations."

"We booked a 1 king size bed non smoking and what a surprise we had once we opened our door. The pictures on the website are lies. Not even close to what we thought it would be. Someone’s fake eye lashes stuck on the lamp which tells us it wasn’t cleaned. Parking was okay and no staff to be found in the morning. I could never go back again. Start looking for somewhere else if visiting Ft. Bragg."

"Shower was half not full in our room. The hotel is at the side of the hwy 1 so you can hear loud motocycles or loud trucks. Pros :The beach is not to far and other Nice beaches are closed by to walk or take pictures with nice views and restaurants are near to the hotel ."

"I booked this quite close to my travel plans so I didn't have a lot of reasonably priced options. The good: relatively quiet, relatively inexpensive, felt safe enough, nice front desk person, comfortable beds, walking distance to Glass Beach and some restaurants. The okay: it's an old property, everything is a bit "dated," all the dispensers in the bathroom (for soap, shampoo, etc.) were empty. "We are not totally happy with the motel. 1. During check in they charge $20 each for additional person on top of the rate be paid. She discounted half of it which suppose to be $80 down to 40.00 ! Looks like this hidden charges 2. When we got into the room, it smelled bad like a typical old moldy house that never been cleaned and sanitized so they did ozolate? to get rid of the smell. 3. "The staff was friendly and while dated, the room was very clean and the view absolutely unbeatable. The access to the beach was easy and made this stay 110% with the investment."

"Very nice property! Great location, nice views, very nice room which was very clean especially for a Pet friendly room. They had everything you need in the room. The grounds/gardens are well maintained and pretty. Nicely lit at night. The restaurant/Tavern was excellent; great food, wonderful atmosphere and service. Our server Matt was amazing! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Even our fur babies enjoyed the stay just as much as we did. We will be coming back here for sure!"
