"We stayed in the Emerald Room for the 4th of July (the largest with the peacocks and the king bed) and found the experience to be a beautiful gem inside Fort Bragg. Do plan accordingly because there is no microwave or any way to cook things, and the fridge was a little warm. I'm not knocking off any points for the appliance situation because it made the experience more historical and made the dream real. The tower was the highest point in Fort Bragg and gave an amazing view for the fireworks...

"This was our 3rd Best Western on a week long vacation down the coast. It was by far the best out of the three. From the front desk staff to the room and view. When we arrived we were met by Natalie with a friendly smile and greeting. We were early for our reservation so she offered up some great suggestions for lunch and also changed our room to ADA due to my Mom’s mobility issues. "Nice room with a phenomenal view. Staff is outstanding and friendly. Be aware though that you WILL be hearing the fog horn 24 hours a day. That being said, the white noise from the room fan covered it up pretty well. My wife is a VERY light sleeper and when we had that going she had no problems. I just didn't think the fog horn always went off even when there is no fog."

"If you want to be immersed in nature, this is the place to go! The inn is located next to a small farm where you can feed some chickens and see their llamas. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The one downside was the temperature in the room. Due to the number of windows a lot of heat got trapped in our room making it stuffy. No AC just a standalone fan. "We were disappointed with our stay. There was no air conditioning in our rooms. It had been a really warm day. I am not comfortable sleeping in a strange city/ hotel with the windows open even though the rooms had screens. The lack of air conditioning was not mentioned in the hotel description.
