"We stayed at the Westin New Orleans over Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. The location was excellent and one of the biggest highlights of the hotel. The hotel is located right near the French Quarter, and most of the places we wanted to visit were only a few minutes away on foot. "It was an okay stay for a night or two or sleep. We had a few issues but nothing that made it unbearable. It was for sure an older hotel that needs some TLC but also wasn’t terrible. The TV in the room was broke with a black line down one side, the light in the bathroom flickered, the toilet wasn’t stable, and he coffee machine at breakfast was not working. Overall it was just okay, able to sleep, shower and be comfortable for a night."

"The hallway smelled like wet dog, not sure if it was the carpet or if someone had pets close by. Opposite to the convention hall is a plus, just need some more updating inside maybe. Breakfast was very good in terms of choice and area was well maintained."

"My family and friends were there for a race. We were on the 3rd floor. We had to get up early so by 9 we settled down. The people in the room next to us were loud and playing loud music. At 10:15 I went down to the desk. No resolution. At 10:30 I went back down, no resolution! I called at 10:45 and the resolution was to move me and my family to another room. We were very thankful to finally get some sleep but that was probably not the best call from the front desk clerk in my opinion. Why did we...

"this is more like an apartment than a hotel."

"What I noticed first was the bathroom was not properly cleaned, after asking housekeeping it still wasn't cleaned.We were surprised to see there was no refrigerator or microwave in our rooms, that's rare in hotel stayes today. We had to throw out good food b/c there was no way to refrigerate. Other than that the stay was nice.****"
