"I made a reservation Expedia told me to be there to check in the next day . When I got there they were closed. I had a family emergency so I couldn’t spend the rest of my afternoon stalking the internet going from Expedia to birch suites to figure out why they were close although I did try reaching out to Expedia with no results . So trip cancelled went home . Next day birch suites said since I had made the reservation thru Expedia then they were the ones that had to change my reservation date...

"Scheduled a 4-day stay, had a family emergency the first night and they wouldn't refund me for 3 nights! Not even one refund. Terrible customer service. Couldn't get the manager on the phone for 3 days. Showers are terrible. "

"I want to start this off by saying the hotel was very nice, breakfast was great and the staff were very kind. We picked this hotel because it looked to be in a nice area with a lot of things to do and it looked safe. Our vehicle and multiple others were broken into while staying and the hotel does not have surveillance cameras on the parking lot. What happened to our car was not the hotel’s fault and they were very helpful, but the lack of security was concerning. "

The pool appeared to have a noticeable buildup on the walls, which was concerning. Our room was also missing several basic items like towels and covers for the pullout couch bed, which made things inconvenient. Overall, this stay was disappointing, but based on our past experiences, we believe this location is more of an exception than the norm."

"This property is not maintained very well. The elevator seems very old, makes strange noises and has an electric or oil type of smell on the third floor. The first room we were given had a dirty bathroom and the lights didn’t work. Most of the complimentary breakfast was gone when we got there (an hour before it ended)."

"pool wasnt very warm, hotel smelled of smoke and perfume to cover it up, room was not clean when checked in. pull out couch mattress was flat as a pancake."
