The only thing positive was the very polite and helpful staff. The hotel is currently under renovation and has a distinct chemical smell to it. There was mold in the bathroom and the carpet felt damp. The pool was murky and something that looked like vomit was on the floor next to the seating area. No towels in sight. I could go on but will just sum it up by saying it was disgusting. Also be prepared to give a $100 cash deposit and be told if you lose the receipt you forfeit the deposit?? I stayed here in the past before the property was sold and it was a pleasant stay, clean, warm and inviting atmosphere with cookies and a library in the lobby for the kids. The new management destroyed what was once a fond memory for the kids. Do not stay here!!

Still undergoing renovations. Chairs and furniture were kept in the lobby and hallways while they redid the conference room. Room was nice, new TV and beds, but some instances where the room wasn't updated all the way; stain on carpet, shower head not on all the way, piece of baseboard missing. Pool was very warm, however the sides of the pool looked dirty or stained. Breakfast was good, only fruit was bananas, no orange juice, but egg omelets were amazing. YOU must eat in the dinning area or you will get charged a fee. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful! Location was perfect for our visit to Downtown Louisville and there is a chuck e cheese only 8 minutes away. Fast food less about two mintues away.
