"Last minute choice, close to where we wanted to stay, staff were very amiable and helpful. Rooms are comfy but dated, a/c was noisy but kept the room super cool. Parking lot needs an overhaul, we were on motorcycles and the amount of gravel and beat up asphalt was sketchy in the dark. Only complaint was the DTV offered very little channels."

"Nice staff and environment. But hotel was a little old considering it was a Marriot. It needs to be updated. The carpet in the floor hall was really loose and had rolls in it. The walls in the room were worn and looked dirty. And the tub/shower was stained."

"This was an excellent stay despite of the fact I have a mobility problem and our room was 40+ steps above. Unique place and the people I met there were friendly and kind. If you're lucky enough to run into JeanMarie outside weeding, make sure you ask her questions about this area, she's local and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Our 2nd luck was seeing Chef Kashiff. Never expected that level of frienliness - we were beyond charmed by his story. Don't forget to make the 3 course dinner...

"Beautiful historic hotel that is convenient for downtown and university visitors. Staff and valets were friendly and helpful. We had drinks in the hotel bar on multiple occasions and were impressed with the service and hospitality. Overall the hotel was clean and updated. However, our room could have used more attention prior to arrival."

"Wow, the Blennerhassett Hotel is full of surprises. I booked for all the usual reasons - looked historical and charming, clean, good reviews. After check in (and they upgraded me which was nice), I had a question for the front desk and my heart melted when I saw a darling doggie friend looking back at me from behind the desk. Turns out the hotel partners with the local humane society, and has helped 200 dogs find new homes!!! They have a wall of adoptee photos across from the front desk and...
