Clarion Inn Harpers Ferry - Charles Town

"We’ve stayed at this location before. The location is great to Harper’s Ferry and the view is very nice, since it is up on a hilltop. The rooms were an average hotel room, nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. Amenities included body wash, shampoo and conditioner, which was very nice. The bathroom is small but functional. The floor gets dangerously slippery when wet, so use a towel on floor. Breakfast had all the continental breakfast options: yogurt, waffles, eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, etc. no internet service from dining room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking free and easy. Room was clean and A/C worked well. Slight smell in room and hallways, but not bad. Dinner in restaurant was good. I’d say a little pricey for the stay, but overall good place to stay near Harpers Ferry."

"It is a good, clean, safe place to stay especially on the road. It is located near plenty of restaurants, shops, etc. This last stay I had some noisy neighbors in an adjacent room. Not the hotels fault but I had to wait until they settled down before I could get to sleep."

Hilton Garden Inn Martinsburg

"We liked this hotel. We only have three complaints 1) one night parking was limited when we got back to the hotel. There was an event going on and there was no place for people staying there to park. We had to park near the townhouses. The 2nd complaint would be that there was an oddly placed hanging lamp above the one side of the bed. My husband is only 5’10” and he hit his head on it several times. 3) The shower door opens up to the toilet so the space to exit the shower is extremely tight. We are not big people so someone who was larger would have difficulty."

"Our rooms was clean and an excellent condition. The young lady, that was the waitress was absolutely fantastic. She helped me with getting a receipt from the dash which I think is kind of stupid that can’t get a receipt even if you did book through a third-party and the sausage and the bacon were cold and subpar, but as far as the rooms and the employees, they are absolutely fantastic."
