"Comfortable room with a good shower. Hotel itself is nicely decorated and very comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Location is great.
The bathroom sink didn’t drain properly and, oddly, the windows in my room were all sealed shut and there was no air-conditioning so it was unpleasantly hot."

"Room 407 has the hotel ventilation system immediately outside window room too hot and noisy with window open. Furniture poor state.nowhere to hang towels in bathroom. Double covers on single duvet uncomfortable. Staff entered room regardless of do not disturb on door and removed a phone when we were out."

"A surprisingly nice location looking over Seaburn beach with an array of nearby eateries and bars.
A few issues that were disappointing were that firstly the leisure facilities were all closed for renovations during our stay. This wasn’t notified on the booking site. It was part of our reason for booking so disappointed to be told only on arrival.
Secondly the price was hiked from any other Saturday evening by 250%, as the great north run was taking part on the day of our departure. An...
