"Breakfast bar okay but low stock of normal breakfast tea as always seemed to have decaf only. Also didn't seem to have anybody available to order eggs so only scrambled available which for the Hilton is surprising.
I'm sure this is a regional problem but the water in room made possibly the worse cup of tea I have ever tasted..... not much better in dining room.
Did get a space in hotel car park although which was just as well as the multi-storey next door was closed.
Staff very helpful and...

"This could be a nice hotel but staff aren't very welcoming or knowledgeable. Filthy mattress covering, curtains in restaurant at breakfast all stained and dirty, 40 minute wait after ordering breakfast just not good enough "

"Due to Covid and having to self isolate for 14 days on our arrival back to Canada, We decided in April to cancel the two rooms booked. We corresponded with Expedia and through them were advised that we would not be refunded. As we did not stay at the hotel we can’t really review. But we were disappointed that they did not even offer a partial refund - given the circumstances "

"Okay so I’m gonna be totally honest and say I love staying at this hotel. The room is beautiful. I like the location. The staff are very amenable. I have that if I’m perfectly honest had different things said to me by different staff and I had to question this this particular staff member on my last visit and I said to her I’ve never been asked to do that before and paying something extra and I stay here on a very very regular basis so they didn’t seem to be the continuity there other than...
