"Property was in a convenient location for moving around London! The rooms were ample size and offered great amenities. Rooms were quiet with no noise from other guests or outside. Spa facilities were nicely maintained and offered a very relaxing experience. Breakfast was continental and offered a good selection but could have been restocked quicker during busy periods. Staff were welcoming and friendly!"

"What a weird a** place this is. This hotel does a great job straddling the line of being friendly and unhelpful. They act like they are nice but really they just want to be mean. The hotel itself is well appointed but the presentation is a bit pretentious. It's trying to be fancy but really it's just weird. It is not family friendly. We tried to have a coffee one day in the cafe but there was no server. Then we ran into some trouble with kids pool time as the TV stated the window was 9-noon...

"We didn't actually stay ate the Ned ~ the reason for the low rating is because when something came up and we weren't able to use the reservation, we decided to gift the room to friends. The Ned refused our request to change the name on the booking. We didn't understand why this would be a problem for them to have a different couple stay there, and in fact would've allowed our friends to experience the Ned and (presumably) offer positive press for them. This doesn't fit the image of a hotel...

"Among 5 star hotels in London, the Dorchester miss surely be at the top. The staff are really remarkable. Professional and efficient of course, but also very warm and genuinely friendly. Everything else about the hotel - the facilities, the food, the location, etc., are simply exceptional."
