Although Hampton Inns charge a bit more for pets than other hotels, they do a great job designing their rooms (and particularly their beds) in such a way as to eliminate hard-to-reach spots where curious cats can hide. Another "pet-friendly" hotel chain has beds that cats can get under and refuse to come out.
