"Accidentally left an item in the room upon departure. Called back the same day, then numerous times the next two days. Told someone would check with housekeeping and call back. Never received a call back. The last front desk individual I spoke with was belligerent and offered no help claiming they were too busy. This is certainly less than expected at a Wyndham property."

"Avoid this one place. I never leave reviews, but if this helps one person it’s worth it. Our first room smelled like someone had a bunch of wet dogs in it, the clock didn’t work, and the tv speakers were blown. I thought it was a fluke and spoke with the gentleman at the front desk and asked for a new room; he moved us with no issue. But when we got to the new room is was a smoking room and we reserved a nonsmoking, not good when you have breathing difficulties. At this point it was midnight and...

"Hotel was nice enough, but the floors were sticky. Beds were clean, bathrooms were fine, and the room had a decent kitchen. But there were no utensils, cooking equipment, dishes, or anything that would come in handy for using a kitchen."

"Older hotel. Funky smell in halls & room. Beds were clean & comfortable. Water pressure good in the shower. The toilet was missing a bolt connecting it to the floor, when flushed it rocked. Parking convenient to room. Felt secure while there. Probably wouldn't stay there again, mainly due to the smell."

"Walls were super thin, I could hear everything in the rooms next to and above me. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, the shower pressure was superb and the front desk was friendly."

"Much of the property has been renovated and a pleasing to the eye. The big downfall was the stair wells. The stairwells were filthy and looked like they had been used buy homeless invividuals, who left their filth behind. The sidedoor entrances where unsecure."

"Nice stay, clean room, nice shower, good breakfast. Had to wait at the front desk to be checked in, ended up knocking on the door behind the desk to get someone to wait on me. That part wasn’t good"

"Friendly and helpful staff. The room was neat and clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was nice, but the shower pan was a little scratched up, otherwise everything was in good shape. Breakfast was good and better than your typical continental breakfast, it included eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, along with the usual items. It has easy access off of the highway and there are plenty of gas stations, restaurants and stores nearby. I’d definitely stay there again."

"The Retreat Center offered a fabulous opportunity for a midpoint stop. The location and property were stunning. The drive into the property offered great promise of a comfortable stay. The after hours check in was simple and the access to the room was right off the main driveway. Parking was easily accessible and close to the unit.
