"Great location. Warm welcome. All information needed was given. Staff friendly throughout, from reception to bar and restaurant staff. Room clean and well set out. Lovely and warm. Wife made use of the pool which she enjoyed. Food was lovely and reasonably priced."

Staff wonderful, restaurants, bars and lounges were plentiful and we loved the authentic timber construction and decor throughout the old areas of the hotel. Our only “complaint” was the overwhelming aromatherapy in the lobby, but it was Christmas-time so… to be expected? Overall a perfect location for visiting River Avon and historic Stratford. "

"Sarah on front desk was amazing - super helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble! Room was spacious - beds a little squeaky and walls thin (could hear full convos next door) but wasn’t for long. Little issue with TV not turning off with remote so used wall plug. Bathroom towels were fabulous - amazing size! Loved them. Spa and facilities were a lovely addition. "

"The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The hotel was easy to find and had onsite parking. The room was comfortable and clean. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment. The breakfast was well organised with plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast was cooked to order on week days but help yourself buffet on the weekend though this was kept warm and well replenished. "Clean room comfortable bed. But noise from room next door until 3am I was wondering if you could get signs saying no noise after 12. "

"Beautiful grounds, historic buildings and a well appointed and equipped spa helped us enjoy a luxurious and relaxing mini break. The full vegetarian breakfast was delicious and really well cooked - a nice bonus to have this included for a minimal extra charge. Tracy at breakfast and Gino in the evening were stand out members of staff but everyone we encountered was as helpful and friendly. Beth & Damon on reception gave us a warm welcome. "
