The room was fantastic with a great view and the experience in general was magical. The only downside was that the published open times for the tavern were not correct and the links in their welcome books seemed broken. Everything else, fantastic. A great find in a historic space. Worth every penny. "

Property well positioned to enable us easy access to Stratford where we had come to visit. We didn't have the breakfast as we needed to leave early so unable to comment on this aspect. "

"What a great retreat in the English countryside. The staff here goes out of their way to make you feel at home. Perfect place for a nice getaway. We were also excited to use the Golf Simulator nearby. Our only regret is having to check out. See you next time !"

"Only stayed for 1 night . Room was clean and staff very friendly . Booked an evening meal too and the food was very good . Only one thing to mention was the mattress could do with an upgrade. "

"I had room 233.. sadly the road outside is busy all through the night. I can normally sleep through anything but sadly not this. Eventually got to sleep at 3.30am after trying ideas to block out noise. Shame really as the hotel and staff are lovely."
