"We stayed in three different 3 star hotels in our trip to Iceland (this being one of them) and this was our least favourite of the three. Compared to the other hotels it felt less welcoming and more like a busy business. Lots of parking available, in a good walkable location and breakfast was pleasant. The rooms felt a little small, with the shower feeling very small. Overall we had a decent one night stay but if we returned we would probably pick another hotel."

"This was not the best stay but it was self inflicted by not selecting a room with a Mountain View. The street lights are bright all night. The other factor was that the room is small. My wife had a cold so it made it even more challenging. Food was good. Cocktails were very good. Everything was x2 as much as you would think it should be so 27 dollars for a cocktail…"

"I loved my stay at the Barn! I am not usually a fan of shared dorms in hostels which is why I loved the private room option here with the shared bath. The facilities were clean and well maintained. There was a huge kitchen with lots of supplies for cooking which made is super convenient to save money on food. The rooms themselves were super clean/nice and plenty of space for our luggage. The bathrooms were clean and private, never had an issues with having to wait for people either. Downstairs...

"Es war ein sehr kleines Zimmer, hat etwas muffig gerochen, aber war trotzdem sauber. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, der Wasserkocher war in der Gemeinschaftsküche. Diese war gut und konnte bis 22 Uhr genutzt werden. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich."

"Favorite hotel we stayed at in Iceland!! It is conveniently located along the golden circle in a geothermal field next to a small river. We were upgraded to a river view (which I would definitely book next time), spent copious amounts of time in the hot tubs, and even saw the northern lights!! The included breakfast was delicious, room was spacious and comfortable and clean. Easy parking out front. Truly picturesque — had such a wonderful time at this hotel and hope to be back in the future!"

"Easiest and fastest checkin. No checking passports and id and no credit card. They obviously trust their customer. Good location with cool Food Hall across the street. Nice cold plunge, steam room, hot tub area. Smaller room by North American standards but comfortable beds. Parking is incredibly easy for Iceland. Just a good place. Stay here"
