"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"Big room, comfy bed, decent price for the room. Staff very helpful! Nice restaurant/bar attached. Big pool and fitness area, but a bit put off by the mold in my mini frig and the trash that was still on the stairway after 3 days. Pick your battles. Over all positive experience."

"Could’ve been better . The pool was a disgusting lime green the entire time we were there so we couldn’t swim . The room didn’t have anything useful like a mini fridge or microwave. No access to balconies . Overall I’d give the stay a 5/10"

"Unique, historic boutique hotel. Very clean & comfortable, A convenient location, only a block from Bourbon Street yet quiet & cozy. Staff is friendly & helpful. Perry at the front desk is the best! As stated here, no elevators (or bell staff). If you’re fit, great and if not, you will be, but pack light. Even so, I do recommend!"

"The Saint was an AMAZING CHOICE. The property, amenities and staff was EVERYTHING! The hotel is central and within walking distance to all the action that Canal/Bourbon Street has to offer. I will definitely recommend and stay here again."
