"This hotel is amazing. We’ve been coming here as a family of 4 for over 7 years and every time it’s great. We’ve especially come for the pool and breakfast which are both excellent. I’d like to highlight the exemplary breakfast staff who do their upmost to make sure it’s special. Special hot chocolate? No problem. Special hot muffins? No problem. We use the family sized rooms and they’re great for a family of 4 with 2 big kids."

"We stayed at the Kings Head last weekend and had a lovely time. The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on the lane, perfect as it allowed the opportunity to see a tiny red squirrel busy in a nearby tree. "This property was in need of updating. The rings had detached from the curtains, making them difficult to close. The tv was outdated. The frying pan had a very loose handle. The shower lacked power and the hot water only seemed to come on at around 8am, no good if you like to shower earlier. The bed was very comfortable, pillows were very cheap and bumpy."

"Lovely hotel, car park below with ample parking. Nice breakfast, huge beds, only critic is bath with shower. No walk in shower which with mobility issues did mean mom couldn’t shower. Lovely service and vibe, can’t fault the hotel. Thank you "

"The hotel is very old but it’s been updated in an appropriate manner. Our room was a little small but served its purpose. The bathroom looked recently refurbished. The parking was excellent and as a blue badge holder we were able to park outside the main reception and parking was free. "

"Visited with a friend, we had a very large twin room with large bathroom (room was for accessibility needs which we did not require but would definitely highly recommend for anyone that does have) Tea and coffee facilities, lovely bathroom supplies. We wanted flexibility in morning so didn’t have breakfast but the 11am checkout was great for us for extra chatting time"
