"We booked the Barbican House as we had tickets to see Paul Weller at the Barbican. From the minute we arrived they were so helpful. The room itself was spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We hadn't booked breakfast but decided to order as we arrived, the cost was £15 each per night, it was delicious with fresh fruit and cereal to start and then a full English with gorgeous bacon and sausages. "The staff really make this property a delight to stay in. They go out of their way to greet you and check you are enjoying your stay. In particular Ian the doorman was lovely, and full of great tips of things to do, bars to visit and restaurants to try. "

"Pluses: Cute, clean little unit with nice amenities, friendly helpful staff. Minuses: If you are sensitive to noise, you should know that this is right next to a pub with a beer garden, and they played loud music with patrons singing along enthusiastically until 9:30 on the night I was there. After that, a little quieter, but noise was noticeable up until 11 PM or so. AC control didn't work, which meant I had to open the skylight, which let in more sound from the adjacent pub."
