"Remodeled historic hotel. The rooms were small but clean. Just a little noisy from the road and the room above us. The balcony was our favorite place to hang out. Off season prices were about average. My wife and I have been coming to Nevada City for almost 50 years. This is the first time staying at the National. Check 1 off our bucket list."

"We had a great stay at the Pines- Wonderful space, great yard area, and perfect little front patio for us. Stayed here at the end of a long year trip with our dogs and couldn’t have been more pleased with how comfortable the bed was, how cute the kitchenette was, and how wonderful it was to walk to town for dinner and breakfast. Would definitely visit again. "

"My fiancé and I took a last minute trip and this place was perfect. Freshly renovated, we booked the room with an open ceiling. I could tell it was newly remodeled just by looking and smelling. The nice young woman who I believe is the owner was very gracious and accommodating. It’s walking distance to old downtown which has plenty of restaurants. The parking lot can be a little tricky due to the design and space. I highly recommend this quaint inn and hope to make a return visit. "
