"This is an older property, and it shows. We had a downstairs room and we could hear every step, scrape, chair and more from the guests upstairs. It's built around a small car park and you will hear every car that comes and goes all night long. If you';re looking for a good night's sleep you may want to look elsewhere. That aside, rates are decent for PacGrove, and it was very clean. Upcharge to have a dog in the room, which I always find a bit of a ripoff--"

"This is a great family vacation stay. The property has everything and you cannot beat the location! Right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants. Not that you need to go anywhere, there are plenty of eating places on site that are delicious. The staff is so helpful and nice, you really never need to leave. The grounds are constantly maintained. You can tell they take really great care of the property. While the rooms might not be the most updated, they are incredibly clean. I...

"The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. I made an error in booking my hotel for the duration of my stay and they assisted me and fixed everything with no fuss. The room was perfect!- clean, bright, extremely comfortable bed. I was shocked at the considerately placed multi charger and used it every single day. My next trip to San Diego? Definitely staying here again!"
