"Lazy river pool, swim up bar."

"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"There was nothing about the property I liked. Here I am paying $$ per night, yet when I called downstairs to ask for a tooth brush the simple response was "we no longer carry toothbrushes.........call the gift shop", Really! I'm not a smoker, so the fact smoking is prevalent everywhere was a big "NEVER AGAIN"."

"A 2.5 hr wait for valet parking before driving home. Granted, a text was sent out the prior day warning of possible delays, however, it didn’t say you would be stuck due to incompetence and lack of personnel by the parking company. Disorganized, non caring, systemless, all of the above. Spoke to the hotel manager, who said he would help if he could, however, he had no power to do so. Love the hotel itself, however, you’d be better off parking in a lot down the street rather than here,...

"The service is not friendly"

"The food was pretty poor for breakfast. The porch was good and that was about it porridge. Our shower was slightly broken and weird. There’s cracks in the ceiling. The beds were way too soft. It seemed better days for sure. I candy. It’s not otherwise it was in a good location. The people who worked there are super nice no complaints there. Breakfast was lamentable."

"Our room was clean, the staff was so helpful from the time we arrived. Valet parking was so helpful and gives you peace of mind. Our breakfast was great and one of the waiters was awesome. Wish I got his name, he was very personable! We had a great time. Use the coupons and the concierge will help you book tours, take advantage of that!"

"I called the hotel to ensure they had room in valet parking. I was told no. I had to find public parking. Then when I checked in they asked if I was parking a car. I said you told me you had no parking. She said I must have called the wrong number. I repeated the number and was told by another worker that was the correct number. Upon check out they asked me if I parked a car I said no. She supposedly emailed the receipt. I never got it. Just checked my credit card and they charged me...

"Perfect location to explore the city from on foot with a really friendly staff. The pool is great for a quick dip to cool off in during the hotter parts of the day. And even though it’s in the French Quarter it is very quiet at night."

"This was my first time in New Orleans, and this was a great location! Not too close to the main tourist area, but close enough to Canal Street for easy access. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful!"

"Everything was really great. The staff was nice, the location was really great, away from the noisy streets but close enough to easily walk to and from popular destinations. However, the only downside of this hotel is how thin the walls are. We would wake up because tvs were so loud and whenever we would pass by other rooms in the hallway we could hear others inside their rooms (privacy issues). Other than that, this place was great. :)"
