"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"The room was absolutely the most spacious room we could have asked for. My only complaint was that I paid for a balcony room that I was expecting to open onto Bourbon Street, it was not specified on the description that it opened up to the back of the hotel that was facing another building with absolutely NO view. The hotel was clean, hallways on the floors could have had a better navigating system. I have never seen so many different halls on 1 floor. Got lost more than once! Would...
