"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"The check-in counter rep wrote QT on the key card with the assumption we would know that meant the elevator banks we should use. No.. There was no a single bottle of water in the room. Considering the room rate, this is how Marriott is saving money? Room was on the 21st floor. There was no hot water. I called for assistance and was told someone will come to check. For? To tell me there is no hot water, that perhaps the broiler is in basement and it takes 15 minutes of running and wasting water...

"The room was excellent. Everything about it was top-notch. It actually had a washer & dryer, which came as a surprise. The price for parking & breakfast seemed excessive. A streetcar stop was right out front. All in all, if want to visit the French Quarter a lot, it's very nice."

"After reading some of the reviews I was skeptical about booking but was pleasantly surprised by the stay. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Clean facilities, comfy beds and the water pressure in the showers were superb. I would definitely book here again!
