"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"Best part of this hotel. Location. 1 block from bourbon street. The hotel is nice just needs a bit up grades. The room I got had a balcony so that was a plus. No complaints , staff was very helpful especially the lady and guy downstairs in the lobby selling tours."

"The staff were so friendly. Kendra at the front desk was amazing, the man who helped us with valet parking and our bags upon arrival was amazing (I’m blanking on his name!). It was right off Bourbon street so we walked everywhere which was so convenient, but far enough away that we didn’t hear partying while we were trying to sleep. The AC in our room was spectacular as well as everything else they had to offer! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in New Orleans "

"Staff was really nice, our flight got delayed and we landed around 12:30am. Room was cozy and nice and clean. We had a balcony view. Housekeeping lady was really nice when we asked for extra blankets. Walking distance from Bourbon Street. "
