"Very nice looking and different than any other regular hotel! Small rooms but comfortable! Kind of Vintage looking but the best is the location! Some many places to eat, shop and walk around! It is closed to almost everything you want to visit in Chicago! Food and drinks are excellent!"

"The Congress was my number #1 place for 30 years. It's an older hotel and shows. Doors in my suite don't close or lock correctly. The room wasn't cleaned when requested so my travel mate could make bets if the room was serviced or not by the time we returned. Not even when I called House keeping. We did appreciate the lake view we paid for, but at its high price, I would recommend a newer hotel in the city."

"The rooftops bar and the lobby areas were nice. Had a few problems with the room at check in, after the third try I finally got a okay room. Staff is okay, not overly friendly. Nothing is complimentary like breakfast compared to surrounding hotels with comparable room prices. Not sure that I would stay there again or recommend to anyone. Location wise, it was great and close to other stores and restaurants."

"Loved our stay! Staff was friendly. The food downstairs was delicious!!! Only one minor hiccup, we found a pair of shorts and men’s underwear in our room when we checked in. I just threw them out. Mistakes happen but overall we enjoyed our stay in Chicago"

"Quiet room. Great view. Great roof top happy hour. Super breakfast. Just didn’t like we were charged some extra fee when we arrived - like $56 for some extra tax or service facility charge. Also, you can’t take your coffee to go at breakfast, so being the paper cup from your room."

"Our room this time was more cozy (re: small). Bathroom was efficient (re: cramped). I would guess they took a suite and made an extra room of it. Staff was great, hotel clean. Just a bad draw in the room - we arrived late."

"The hotel is in a great location in Chicago. It is a massive big hotel. A bit outdated but room was clean and bed was very comfortable. For some reason it was not cleaned or serviced every day. Overall, had a good stay."
