"We’ve stayed here twice, the first time eight years ago. The first time there weee macaroons on a CV piece of black slate in the room when we arrived. Not this time. And last time there was a very big wooden door at the entrance that we liked and that was also missing. That said, those are very minor points. The staff is still very friendly and helpful. The location exceptional. The room was clean and comfortable. We hope to return to Iceland in a few years and we will definitely stay here...

"The property was not as advertised. The room was 10 x 15 including the bathroom, desk, clothes rack and a queen bed. There was no restaurant on premise. The rooftop hot tub was a basement tub with hot water. I would not recommend this hotel."

"We had an incredible stay at Hotel Holt! From the comfortable accommodations to the delicious breakfast, free parking, hotel location, everything exceeded our expectations. A special shoutout to Antonios, whose knowledge and recommendations truly enhanced our trip. Marilyn and Lara were fantastic in the breakfast area—so attentive and always making sure everything was fresh and fully stocked. Overall, a wonderful experience with an amazing team. "Great location for exploring the southern coast, and the property is clean with beautiful views. Our cabin was sandwiched between the communal parking lot out front and an active construction site out back, complete with exposed septic infrastructure and loose wiring. The construction lights also impacted stargazing and northern lights viewing. The advertised hot tub turned out to be communal, attached to the reception building, and far enough from the cabins that you need to drive there. WiFi...
