"The rooms are sparse and the the amenities are basic. There are numerous restaurants nearby and it is a 30 minute walk to downtown. I would stay here again but don’t expect a 3 star hotel."

"To be honest it was the cheapest choice available when I was booking my trip. The place is fair enough for the price. It was not staff available, so when someone moved my jacket from a common hanger nobody was there to solve the situation. I contacted someone at the pizzeria and they didn't know what to do. I wrote to the property and it wasn't a reply. The property was clean and I slept well!"

"I only have one recommendation for the hotel. In the lobby, change the ringtone at reception. It is the default tone that immediately breaks the vacation mentality and brings one back to the normal grind of every day life"

"Great location, handy parkade 5 min walk away, so you don't need to worry about zone 2 parking etc. Note: no coffee machine or instant packets in rooms other than Junior suite or Deluxe room, which lists Nespresso machine. But grocery store is next door to buy instant coffee and snacks. Easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants, waterfront etc. Breakfast not included and 3000 kr ISK quoted by staff."
