"Very happy with my choice to stay at this hotel. The guys at reception were enthusiastically helpful; we got a lot out of our only 2 day stay in Reykjavik, and it all went smoothly thanks to their advice. The lounges were very comfortable, the library had some great titles, and the Fisk in a Pan at restaurant was to die for. "

"This was a very comfortable stay for our last night in Iceland. The room was a little small compared to some of our other hotels, but we had a big surprise when we opened the door at the window to find we had the fourth floor balcony that looked out over the city. That was a huge plus and a very nice surprise. The breakfast was one of the best we had at any of our hotels. The staff was very courteous and friendly. "The staff were very helpful. Nice clean hotel, very convenient for bus stop 12, which is right outside.

"The staff was extremely polite and very helpful, even with matters well beyond hotel business. The property was clean and very well managed. The room was spacious and overlooked the city street with a great view! The next time I return to Iceland, I will DEFINITELY be staying at the Alda Hotel again!"

"Exceptional staff...friendly and helpful. Bar offered a limited selection of food but nachos were huge and delicious. Breakfast exceeded our expectations with the variety and quality of food. Able to store our luggage easily for late day departure. Id stay here again without a doubt!"
